The Sail
Tell me where, and we'll see what happens.
You say yes before you've worked out how to get there. New doesn't unsettle you — it wakes you up.
Plans in Palma for groups of 3 to 6 friends. You turn up together; we take care of the rooftop, the drinks and the other groups worth meeting.
No fees, no subscription. You only pay for the plans you actually go to.
No dating apps, no endless scrolling. Your friends, other groups like yours and a plan worth turning up for.
Give it a name and you'll get a code. Send it to your friends and they join with that.
Six minutes on how you are around other people. One by one, whenever it suits.
One of the six. Not a label — just something to get the first conversation going.
Whoever set up the group books for everyone. No strings, no fees.

We're finalising the dates for the coming weeks. Set up your group and we'll let you know the moment places open.
Create my groupYour avatar doesn't define you or file you away. It does two things: it keeps the first conversation from starting with the weather, and it makes sure every plan has people like you and people nothing like you.
Tell me where, and we'll see what happens.
You say yes before you've worked out how to get there. New doesn't unsettle you — it wakes you up.
Tell me the plan and I'll be there.
You're not rigid, you're clear. Once you know where you stand, you're all in.
Nobody gets left out of the conversation.
Quietly, you're the reason the group works. Nothing gets past you.
The good things take a little while to grow.
Small talk does nothing for you. How people think does.
If we laugh, the night's already worth it.
You walk in and the room warms up two degrees. Without trying.
Hang on, you two need to meet.
Your speciality is introducing two people who would never have spoken otherwise.
“After fifty, nobody makes new friends by accident. You have to go out.”
Nobody walks alone into a room full of strangers. That's the awkward part, and we've taken it out.
Three to six per group and three or four groups per plan. Small enough to talk to everyone.
A 45+ community. Kids grown, career built, and up for going out again.
A rooftop at sunset, the sea behind you and the city starting to light up.
At this stage the problem is rarely a lack of friends. It's that everyone's diary is full, the same four people always end up at the same bar, and it has been years since anyone new sat down at the table.
SAL works on that. You sign up with the people you already go out with — 3 to 6 of you, women, men or mixed — and at each plan we bring together three or four groups like yours. Nobody arrives alone into a room of strangers, which is the part that puts most people off. You arrive with your own, and by the end of the evening you know fifteen more.
Everything happens in Palma de Mallorca. We're starting on the rooftops of the city's hotels: a drink as the sun goes down, a good room and three or four groups who didn't know each other that morning. Small plans, chosen places, a 45+ community.
The profile, the questionnaire and the avatar cost nothing. You pay only for the plan you attend, per person, and you decide plan by plan.
Between 3 and 6. Three, because a pair isn't a group. Six, because past that somebody always ends up a spectator. Women, men or mixed: whatever your group already is.
Yes. It's 25 questions and about six minutes, and each person answers their own. Until everyone in the group has their avatar the group can't book. It's the only thing we ask of you before the plan.
No. You come out with your own friends to meet more friends, and perhaps someone special turns up along the way. There's no swiping, no matching and no gallery of faces to browse.
The profile, the questionnaire and the avatar are free, now and later. You only pay for the plan you go to, per person, and the price is on each plan before you decide anything.
It takes two minutes. You can do the questionnaire whenever it suits you.
